Real Madrid hero Fernando Morientes is urging the club to sign AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe.
Expectations on the youngster have reached fever-pitch and a world record transfer fee is on the cards if he agrees to a switch.
"When you talk about these types of figures, it's usually because the player has generated a certain level of expectation," Morientes told Efe at a LaLiga event.
"It's difficult to digest, but when a player is tempted by so many clubs, it's because he has a lot of talent."
Just 18 years of age, Mbappe is the same age as Morientes' own son.
"He is just a kid, still in the process of maturing," he continued.
"The weight of responsibility will be on his shoulders."
