Valencia striker Fernando Morientes has called on the crisis club to remain united.

The former Liverpool and Monaco forward said: "We have never had such problems, but at delicate moments it is important to note that we need unity. In the end, we are those that win the games and must have unity in the locker room to leave the bad situation in which we are in now.

"It is normal that fans are hurt after the last results at home. The team knows the difficulty of the situation, but everything can change if we are united. The situation will change because we are a team full of international players with the capacity to turn results around."
