Former Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes believes his old club should avoid Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Kane is being linked with Real as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo after his departure for Juventus.
But Morientes told talkSPORT: "Normally, at Real Madrid, all galactic players can come. But now it's difficult because Cristiano Ronaldo leaves but Karim Benzema remains the headliner.
"And if Kane comes to Madrid, it probably will not be in the same role as Cristiano Ronaldo. We will need something special. Everyone says that the most important profile now for Real Madrid would be a Neymar, a (Kylian) Mbappé.
"We do not need a scorer since we have Benzema. If Harry Kane comes, it will be difficult because we have two strikers in the team."
