Leicester City captain Wes Morgan was delighted seeing Jamie Vardy get off the mark in defeat at Arsenal on Friday.
Vardy, a former Arsenal transfer target, disarmed the Arsenal defence as Leicester led twice before succumbing to two late goals.
Morgan said: "I don't think there is anyone in the Premier League as direct as Vards.
"Defences are terrified of his pace which is fantastic for us as we have him on our side and we can utilise it as much as possible.
"It is his strength but he doesn't make those runs for the sake of it, the timing of his runs is perfect and his control and finishing is on point as we saw against Arsenal.
"That is his attribute; playing on the shoulder and getting in behind onto balls we put down the sides. That is his strength. And as long as he is playing we will play to his strengths.
"I'm sure he will be delighted to get off the mark.
"It is great for us, him finding the net early in the season and hopefully it will lead to more."
