Morgan de Sanctis insists he's happy at Roma

Morgan de Sanctis insists he's happy at Roma.

The veteran is playing second fiddle to on-loan Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

“I'm fine," De Sanctis told Il Messaggero.

“At the moment I don't feel like I'm outside of my job, which is a professional footballer. If these conditions continue until June, I won't even consider stopping.

“There are good goalkeepers at Roma, and that guarantees a good return. As for the role of goalkeeper, I'm thinking less about being a protagonist and more about quality and continuity of results.

“A renewal? There's no hurry, I feel like a player and Roma are my priority. If I decide to keep playing, I'll do it with Roma.

“I'll decide together with the club, I'm a veteran player, and I know my rights and responsibilities."
