Morgan Amalfitano is being linked with Sunderland.

Amalfitano, 30, whose Hammers contract was cancelled this week by mutual consent after a bust-up with Slaven Bilic, played for new Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce at West Ham.

The Frenchman is yet to find himself a new club since his axing.

But he did enjoy first team football under Allardyce, who could take him north.
