DC general manager Dave Kasper was delighted that the club could hold on to their star goalscorer.
"Jaime is a very important player to our club in many ways and we are excited to have him back with us," said Kasper. "When he is on the field, he makes us a better team, and he makes plays that can change a game."
Added Moreno: "Obviously, I am very happy and excited about the new season. We have new coaches and players, and it is a big challenge for the organization. Personally, I am going to work hard to help this team achieve its goals."
