DC United have made it clear they want former star player Jaime Moreno involved at the club.

The Washington outfit have offered the 36-year old Bolivian the opportunity to join the youth academy staff but president Kevin Payne admits he is still looking to continue his playing career.

"He knows there is an opportunity here when he is ready to take it," Payne said.

"Right now, he wants to try to play one more season, probably abroad."

Moreno ended his 14-year association with DC after the 2010 MLS season, declining a contract offer, and is currently a free agent.
