Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy expects to lose assistant manager Mark Lillis to Hull City.

Lillis is a candidate for an under-23 development role at the KC Stadium.

And McIlroy told BBC Radio Lancashire: "I'm not happy about that but there's nothing I can do, especially at this stage in the season.

"Until it happens we'll have to just get on with the job, I can't stand in anybody's way."
