Espanyol fullback Steve Finnan is enduring a difficult first few months in Spain.

The former Liverpool defender has again been laid low by a calf injury, which Espanyol medical chiefs say will keep him off his feet for four weeks.

Finnan had only just come back from a similar injury, which had kept him out for six weeks.
