Dundee United midfielder Scott Robertson faces another operation on his groin. The Scotland international has been plagued by injury for more than 12 months and has not featured since coming off the bench in the SPL game against Rangers in early December.
Caretaker boss Peter Houston revealed: "Scotty has had a jag before which didn't cure it and he's also had complete rest, which didn't work either.
"Now they're wanting him to go in for an abdominal operation to release the tension in that area.
"It looks like Monday or Tuesday that he'll go in and get the operation.
"The rehab after it is still maybe six to eight weeks and Scotty's focus now is maybe getting the last seven or eight games of the season."
