Darren Dodds, Morgaro Gomis and Prince Buaben have all signed contract extensions to remain at Dundee United until May 2011. Manager Craig Levein told the club's official website: "My admiration for Darren Dodds as a player and model professional is no secret and, despite his age, I had no hesitation in offering him a further two-year contract to ensure his services were retained for the club.
"He is extremely fit, looks after himself well and will continue to play an important role at Dundee United over the next two years."
Levein added: "While the contracts for Morgaro and Prince were not due to expire until May 2010, they have both made an immediate - and earlier than expected - impact as first-team players and I am confident that they will both develop even further.
"It was important therefore to not only reward them, but to secure them for Dundee United for a longer period. This is all part of our strategy for the future of the club."
