Prospective Newcastle United signing Joey Barton has had another run-in with the law.

The News of the World says Barton is in hot water again - his flash Range Rover was towed away by cops for having no insurance.

The Manchester City midfielder, who is in the process of joining Newcastle United, was caught out by a blitz on cars at a shopping centre at Prescot, Merseyside.

Barton, 26, is already in trouble for allegedly punching a teammate in a training ground incident.
