More concerns have been raised over Real Madrid management after Sergio Ramos did not feature in last night's forlorn Copa del Rey victory over Alcorcon.

An uninspired Real won 1-0, but were still bundled out by their third division opponents 4-2 on aggregate.

Real coach Manuel Pellegrini chose not to feature Ramos, insisting afterwards that he was suspended after being sent-off in their derby win at Atletico Madrid.

However, it's emerged that Ramos was indeed available as the Spanish Federation do not convene on public holidays - like Monday - and so the player's suspension had not been decided.
