More Chelsea sales expected after trio sold

Having already sold three players, Chelsea intend to sell another five this summer.

The Telegraph says former Blues football chief Frank has signed Michael Mancienne, Jacopo Sala and Gokhan Tore and is interested in Jeffrey Bruma - for his new club, Hamburg.

Chelsea will move four to five players from their first-team squad this summer with the first departure expected to be Jose Bosingwa - although the club are no longer, for now, bidding for the Ajax right-back Gregory van der Wiel as his replacement. He had been targeted by Arnesen but his transfer value has grown too high.

Also under threat are Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda and Paulo Ferreira while Yuri Zhirkov has expressed a desire to play more first-team football and may be allowed to leave.
