Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is actively trimming his squad.
Coyle has already released Zoltan Harsanyi and Ricardo Vaz Te from the squad in the last few weeks, and will review the future of Gavin McCann when he returns for pre-season training in July.
But the manager is adamant he will not force players out of the squad for the sake of making changes this summer.
"I have never said anything about releasing players and it would be wrong of me to do that," he told the Bolton News. "They signed their contracts in good faith before I came to the club so I am not going to be the guy who says 'you need to go here or there' they don't need to go anywhere.
"There will be ones who play more than others, and they may feel they will get a better opportunity elsewhere. That's up to them but I am not forcing anyone out of the door. I don't work like that."
