Roy Hodgson is set to return to Inter Milan.

Currently in charge of Finland's national team, Hodgson will join the football staff at Inter as a mediator with national federations.

Inter president Massimo Moratti has become exasperated over the attitude of some national teams towards his players after seeing Patrick Vieira and Cristian Chivu return from international duty injured this week.

Moratti will lean on Hodgson's diplomacy skills and relationships with FIFA and UEFA powerbrokers to earn a better deal for Inter.
