Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is planning a bid for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

Mediaset says Moratti, after a disappointing season, wants to deliver a big name signing to their suffering fans and Tevez fits the bill.

The Argentine has little over 12 months to run on his current City deal and any significant offer will be accepted by the fallen English champions.

Tevez is aware of Inter's long-term interest and would welcome a summer switch to the San Siro.
