Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti says Claudio Ranieri could still have a role with the club.
Ranieri was sacked yesterday and replaced by former Primavera coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
"He is certainly part of Inter for the moment and is therefore prepared to collaborate," said Moratti. "He is a good man and a great Coach in my view. It just went badly for him.
"As for Gasperini, let's just say we started off the season so badly that it was difficult to get back on track after that. I say he can be a good Coach, but with Inter it didn't go that way."
