Moratti to oversee €160M worth of Inter Milan transfer business

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is ready to oversee transfer business worth a staggering €160 MILLION in the coming days. Gazzetta dello Sport says Moratti is set to ignore fellow directors urging him to reign in his spending to splash out on several players.

However, first Moratti will seek to rake in over €60 million from the sales of fullback Douglas Maicon and striker Mario Balotelli.

Manchester City officials will be in Milan tomorrow to finalise a €35 million deal for Balotelli. Once that agreement is closed, Moratti will resume talks with Real Madrid over Maicon's departure.

Inter, meanwhile, have made contact with Liverpool to discuss a deal worth up to €50 million for Javier Mascherano and Dirk Kuyt.

Also on Moratti's shopping list are Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan and Bayern Munich midfield star Bastian Schweinsteiger.
