Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has full confidence in new coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
Moratti appointed Gasperini as Leonardo's replacement last week.
"On Gasperini I can guarantee," he said.
"He's a good one, who knows football, absolutely not a second choice. Against his Genoa we always suffered, now we'll start well and win again, from the Italian Super Coppa."
Moratti also added: "Maicon will stay with us - this summer we're focusing on young players."
