Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti admits he's been pleasantly surprised by the lack of hostility from fans after last season's poor performance.
Moratti spoke at an event to celebrate the Curva Nord, who throughout the campaign had a series of banners protesting against the situation.
“I wanted to be here in order to thank everyone for the way you supported the team in a difficult time,” said Moratti.
“The protests from the Curva were intelligent. Perhaps in your place I’d have written worse things on the banners or jeered myself! You behaved in a special way, worthy of Inter.
“Our objective for next season is the best. We begin the campaign aiming to win the Scudetto.”
