Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has hailed Antonio Cassano's influence on their recent form.

Inter have now surged to second place on the table.

"Antonio is an artist and when an artist is in the right period, you can expect anything. What pleases me most is not that he's playing well, but also that Cassano feels happy and settled at Inter. This is good for the whole squad.

"He is capable of playing 90 minutes, but it is a tactical and precautionary decision to limit his playing time.

"Naturally I hope we can continue winning. I didn't expect such a strong start to the season, as we renewed so much of the side from Coach to players. It's not easy to get into gear with so many new elements."
