Moratti denies row with Inter Milan president Thohir

Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti insists there's no tension with owner Erick Thohir.

There have been claims of the pair being at odds over Thohir's plans.

"I am disappointed that certain rumours emerged and especially for Thohir, as he is a good man and is only working for the good of Inter," Moratti told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I can assure you there has been no breakdown in our rapport, nor is there a deep freeze between us.

"I have to ask myself why these rumours emerge and I can only think it happened because people don't see me or read my comments as much as they did before.

"This is all to do with my way of approaching this situation, as I do not want to push myself in or impose my presence on the club's new owners. It would be like selling your house and then continually visiting to sit in the lounge.

"That doesn't mean there are problems between Thohir and myself, in fact it is quite the opposite."
