Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has defended their pursuit of Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez.
Inter's push has upset AC Milan officials.
"We did nothing underhand in our dealings with Tevez. We merely did what we considered to be right for Inter," he said of Tevez.
"It doesn't seem to us unfair to show an interest in a player who could be useful for us. Having said that, the figures are now becoming incredible. There are around 10 days left in the transfer window and maybe, if we return to the earlier situation, then we can make another offer."
