Moratti backs Inter Milan fans' influence in collapse of Vucinic-Guarin swap

Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti backed protesting fans in the collapse of the deal for Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic.

Vucinic was set to join Inter in exchange for Fredy Guarin before the move was blocked by club owner Erick Thohir.

"The President will talk about the negotiations, but as for the protest from the fans I think it was all resolved in a civilised manner," said Moratti.

"The negotiations are over, just as Thohir said. The protest was just the fans wanting answers from those who are in charge."
