Moratti admits Inter Milan have one hand on Scudetto

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti admits they have one hand on the Scudetto after Wednesday night's battling 1-1 draw with second-placed Roma.

"The Scudetto is closer than it was on Sunday, but there are still many matches to go, each has its difficulties and what we have gone through against Samp shows that all games are difficult," said Moratti.

"Inter has demonstrated its ability to overcome difficulties, as against Roma. For a couple of years this team has been showing character. I maintain hope this character is again on display against Liverpool."

On Javier Zanetti's equaliser, Moratti added: "It was a beautiful thing, it was a beautiful goal, the goal of will, the will of talent. He is the first player that I would select. If this game with Roma is to be decisive for the Scudetto, it is good that it was he who scored."
