Diego Costa could be squeezed out of Atletico Madrid if a deal for Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is closed.

AS says Morata has already agreed terms with Atletico, which are now weighing up how to make room. Nikola Kalinic and Gelson could make way, but they do not rule out the possibility of Diego Costa departing.

A move to China could be revived for the former Chelsea striker.

Morata's arrival could force Costa to the bench and there is concern that such a situation could see the striker kick up a fuss.

Meanwhile, Atletico for now are pushing Chelsea to release Morata on a straight six month loan.
