Montreal Impact head coach Jesse Marsch suggests the club will not bother trying to have Jeb Brovsky's rd card overturned.
The 23-year old midfielder was sent off in the 19th minute of his side's 2-0 loss to Columbus Crew on the weekend but after serving on the league's disciplinary committee, Marsch says it may be too much hard work to try and have a one-match rescinded.
"We will inquire a little bit. But you've also go to pick your battles wisely when going to the league to try to appeal and fight certain things.""I was on the (MLS) disciplinary committee and I know there's a laborious process that they go through to evaluate calls and cards every week," Marsch said. "We could put a call in, but it's very hard to overturn these things.
Despite the sending off, Marsch felt his team did well with ten men for more than 70 minutes in just their third MLS outing.
"Even after the red card we stayed very organized," he added. "We were committed and worked hard for the next 70 minutes and could have easily scored a few goals down a man as well."
