The Montreal Impact announced on Friday it has reached a deal with Haitian defender Mechack Jérôme.
The deal makes Jérôme an Impact player provided he gets International Transfer Certificate clearance.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
Jérôme, 24, from Liancourt, Haiti, won the MLS Cup with Sporting Kansas City last season. He played 12 regular-season games in 2012 and 2013, including 10 starts, plus three games in the CONCACAF Champions League and 29 games for the Haitian national team.
