Didier Drogba believes the Montreal Impact side can improve greatly on the 4-3 win over Chicago Fire on Saturday.
The Chelsea legend guided the Canadian club to a come-from-behind victory by netting a hat-trick in his first MLS start, naturally receiving all the plaudits for his efforts.
But Drogba was not satisfied with the performance as a whole and has implored the Impact to show more assuredness next time they step out.
"For me, it's not a good result," Drogba said.
"The most important thing is that you get the three points, but when you look at the game itself, you know we've got a lot of things to change and to work on.
"There's always room for improvement in this team."
Drogba opened the scoring in the 27th minute before the Impact found themselves 3-2 down just before the hour-mark.
But the 37-year-old produced a quick brace to complete his hat-trick and give Montreal their first win in five league games which saw them sneak into the top six in the Eastern Conference.
