Marco Di Vaio is looking forward to starting a new life in Montreal, what he describes as an 'international' city.
The 35-year old Italian striker has made the move from Bologna to sign with the MLS expansion franchise as their first Designated Player but he is looking for more than just a change in his football career.
"The club here made me feel important, just as Bologna had done.
"Moreover, at the age my girls are, it was a good opportunity for them to learn [French and English]. At that stage in their life, it's very important and fulfilling.""It was time for me to move away and try something new," Di Vaio said when he was unveiled earlier this week.
