Louisville Cardinals youngster Paolo DelPiccolo has signed a professional contract with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 21-year old USA U20 international, who was selected by Montreal Impact with pick number 27 in last week's 2013 MLS SuperDraft, has rejected a contract offer from the Canadian club in order to head to Germany.
"I'm extremely excited to be starting my career at Eintracht Frankfurt," DelPiccolo told MLSsoccer.com via his agent.
"There is a good environment here, and I feel like people believe in me. I can't wait to get started."
The midfielder has joined Turkish striker Ugur Albayrak in signing with Eintracht for the remainder of the season.
