Montreal Impact appoint Klopas as new head coach

Montreal Impact have announced Frank Klopas as its new head coach.

The 47-year old has replaced Marco Schallibaum at the helm of the Canadian club following his decision to step down from his two-year stint as Chicago Fire boss.

Klopas has penned a three-year deal with the Impact which also sees him take the role as player personnel director.

In addition, the Impact has announced the Schallibaum's coaching staff consisting of Mauro Biello (assistant coach), Youssef Dahha (goalkeeper coach) and Paolo Pacione (fitness coach) will all remain at Saputo Stadium.
