Montreal Impact announce try-outs for U21 team

The Montreal Impact announced Friday that the club will hold a two-day tryout for its Under-21 team, on November 5 and 6, at Marie-Victorin Sports Complex, in Montreal.

Players born between 1992 and 1995, playing at the AAA level and interested in joining the Montreal Impact will get the chance to show off their skills for the club's technical staff.

"There are only two ways to integrate into the Impact Academy, either following recommendations from our scouts or by participating to these tryouts," said Director of player development Philippe Eullaffroy. "This is a rare occasion for them to show us what they've got. It is also an important moment for our coaching staff to discover and evaluate local talent. We are mostly looking for the player's long-term potential and not just their current training form. The final objective is to develop the best possible players to integrate into our MLS professional team."
