Montreal Impact already warring with local media

Montreal Impact are already warring with the local media less than a month into their MLS existence.

Reporter Jeremy Filosa of 98.5 FM radio left Impact practice early after being informed he would have limited access.

CBA.ca says Impact management was upset at a report quoting an unidentified source that the expansion of Saputo Stadium would not be completed on time for its reopening scheduled for June 16.

However, Impact president Joey Saputo admitted Filosa would be clear to record comments made to the media by the players and coaches, but the Impact personnel would not answer any questions posed by him.
