Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud admits he may look at leaving France to join either Celtic or Rangers in the future.
The 24-year old reportedly turned down an offer from the Hoops last summer and more recently was the subject of interest from 'Gers until he signed a three year deal with the French Ligue 1 club last week.
But the former Grenoble man kept the door ajar for a potential shift to Glasgow sometime down the track.
"There was never any direct contact from Rangers but they were following me," he said.
"It didn't get far but maybe I can look at a big club like Rangers or Celtic in the future."
