Montpellier chairman Louis Nicollin is confident that Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, currently with Newcastle, will return to the French club one day. The 24-year-old was recently dropped in favour of Mike Williamson after a poor showing for Newcastle in the 3-2 defeat at Everton.
"I'm sorry for him," Nicollin is quoted by L'Equipe.
"I love him a lot. He has followed the advice of his agent and he was wrong to leave.
"But don't worry, he'll come back to Montpellier."
