Martín Montoya and Sergi Roberto could be forced to stay with Barcelona due to their transfer ban.
Marca says the pair are unhappy with the bit-part roles they've played this season under Luis Enrique and are both seriously considering their futures.
But Barca are reluctant to release them with a ban for both 2015 transfer windows looming.
Next month the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will decide whether to uphold FIFA's punishment. The club lodged a fast-track appeal and a hearing has been set for the first week of December, so a final ruling will be issued before the end of 2014.
