AC Milan captain Riccardo Montolivo hailed the spirit shown for their 1-1 draw with Champions League opponents Barcelona.
Montolivo was eager to highlight Kaka's contribution on the night.
"If we play as a team, then we can challenge anyone. I think tonight we had the right attitude, as tactics and shapes can only count for so much without team spirit.
"Kaka had a great performance. He went on counters, provided some wonderful passes and he obviously can't be 100 per cent yet, but he was great tonight."
