Riccardo Montolivo remains confident Fiorentina can enjoy an exciting season run-in.

The Viola have snapped their winless streak and face AC Milan this week.

Montolivo said: "We're trying to re-open the Scudetto race, but we too need to win and certainly this attitude will serve Fiorentina the best. Goals? It's early now to say that we can return to fight for the high placings, in a month maybe it will all be clearer.

"Now we must find the lost continuity from the last two months and in that sense the game on Wednesday will be an important test."
