Montero urges Juventus to go for Aguirregaray

Former Juventus favourite Paulo Montero has tipped off his old club about a top Uruguayan prospect.

Montero remains in regular contact with Juve director Alessio Secco and said: "I recommended to Secco the 19 year-old Matias Aguirregaray, a right-back who plays for Penarol."

Montero also rapped his old club for not signing Fenerbahce defender Diego Lugano.

"When you look at the success of the South Americans at Inter and AC Milan, I think it was a mistake by Juve not to take Lugano."
