Fredy Montero is getting set to live his football dream as a move to Sporting Lisbon looms closer.
The Seattle Sounders forward, currently on loan with Colombian side Millonarios, is on the verge of completing a move to Portugal and is eagerly anticipating the fact he is taking the next step in his career.
"Right now I'm just waiting until everything gets done," said Montero.
"Nothing is official, yet. Let's see if I have to fly from Seattle to Colombia or Seattle to Europe.
"That's my dream coming true. I hope to do good there. I was waiting for this opportunity in past years and it's here now. Hopefully I can enjoy that opportunity like I did with my other ones in the past."
