AS Roma boss Vincenzo Montella insists they did not deserve to be dumped out of the Coppa Italia last night.
A 1-1 draw at Inter Milan saw Roma eliminated after they had lost the first-leg 1-0.
Montella insists Roma "did not deserve to go out" of the Coppa Italia semi-final against Inter.
"There are regrets and we tried until the last second of stoppages. Considering there were five substitutions, I'm surprised the referee only gave three minutes," said the Coach after a 1-1 draw at San Siro.
The Giallorossi had to overturn a 1-0 first leg home defeat, but saw Marco Borriello hit both uprights during the same move.
"We were unlucky tonight and it's a pity to lose like this, as we did not deserve to go out. We really wanted to play the Final at the Stadio Olimpico."
