Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella insists they're the equals of victors AS Roma.
Montella felt Fiorentina "played on a par with Roma and either side could've won" after their 2-1 defeat.
"We had several chances to take the lead. Roma had a few opportunities and took the most of them, whereas we didn't," the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
"It was a fascinating game with two teams playing great football. I think either side could've won considering the performances, but we have to accept the defeat, even though three points would've been important.
"It's a pity. The match was balanced with at times Roma in control, at times Fiorentina. In space the Giallorossi can be devastating and anything can happen in an open game like that. We proved today we play on a par with Roma."
