The on-loan Manchester United midfielder only started training with his new teammates on Friday.
Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella remarked: "He has an extraordinary desire to be a protagonist. He doesn't have the physical sharpness he needs yet, so I'll help him settle in gradually."
