Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella hailed Mohamed Salah's performance in their 2-0 win over Europa League opponents Tottenham.
Fiorentina progress 3-1 on aggregate.
"In the first half we were under pressure from Tottenham, even if they didn't create many scoring opportunities," said Montella.
"After the break we came out with a different attitude and our individuals caused them huge problems.
"In midfield we had to do without Borja Valero and then lost Mati Fernandez, so that was a blow, but everyone worked very hard."
Mario Gomez and Salah were on target for the 2-0 victory.
"Salah is a player who, even if he has lulls in the game, is devastating in the final 40-50 metres."
