Monreal: Arsenal see Man Utd as our greatest rivals

Arsenal fullback Nacho Monreal says the players regard Manchester United as their greatest rivals.

Monreal has been eagerly anticipating this weekend's game ever since his arrival in England in January, and believes Arsenal have what it takes to claim the three points.

“I have been excited about it since I got here,” he told Arsenal Player. “I asked Santi, 'which of our rivals do we still have to play - Chelsea, Man United?' and he told me that we had Manchester United towards the end of the season.

“They are one of the biggest teams in England and they’re having an exceptional season. It's one of those games every player wants to be involved in, but there are three points at stake and that is what we are aiming for.

“They may be a very strong opponent, but we are also a very good team and can win the match.”
