Swansea City boss Garry Monk says the new TV deal won't see them go spend crazy.
Monk insisted that Swansea would continue to conduct their business sensibly and not over-stretch themselves in the transfer market.
"I'm pretty sure this summer's transfer window and next January's will see the most amounts spent by Premier League clubs," Monk said.
"I'd be surprised if it doesn't break those records because of the TV deal that's coming up and the rewards of staying in the league.
"But we'll go about our business as we've always done, we'll try and be shrewd and only do the deals that suit us.
"That's what we've done in the past and it's stood us in good stead."
