Swansea City boss Garry Monk admits individual errors are costing them points after defeat at Everton.
Monk blamed himself for a crucial five-minute spell in the second half that yielded two Everton goals but hinted he may have to stop shielding his players from criticism.
"I am not going to hide," he said. "I will always hold my hands up and take responsibility, because that's the way I am. Maybe I should be more selfish, because that's the way a lot of managers are.
"Maybe I'll have to learn the hard way. For 10 years, I have put this club ahead of my wellbeing or interests. Maybe in the future, I need to think about myself and be more selfish - but, then again, I care too much about the club and the players.
"We haven't been clinical enough, for one thing, and that was the case here. We created enough to have beaten Everton. But the players have shown the desire and commitment needed since I took over, and when you are with them, feeling that, it is hard sometimes to understand what has gone wrong. We have to step up, all of us. We all have to take responsibility."
